An immersive corporate learning platform with 8+ emotional stories, 2 mini-games, 12 achievements, 3 levels & 1 common goal for 320,000 employees.

Challenge

With "Transform the Everyday", Siemens has a complex and ambitious corporate purpose.

How do we communicate it to over 320,000 employees - from the Managing Board to the trainees in the canteen? In line with the focus on digital transformation and sustainability, our digital solution should also be sustainable, i.e. require few resources in operation and be open to further development and ready for versatile use (e.g. trade fairs & events).

Solution

We transformed the global Siemens company purpose - into a game! "Everyday" is a virtual living city with a digital and a real side. Where we explain highly complex technical topics – in small emotional challenges, we can all relate to. Like: more punctual rail travel, more sustainable energy, more chargers for e-cars and many more (to come).

Using the latest findings in game-based learning, making it not just a game – but an immersive Corporate Learning Platform. With trophies! And minigames! An achievement system unlocks 12 trophies and 3 levels. And it's sustainable:

Results

We generated 206.000 minutes of learning-time, 70.000 earned trophies and collectibles and Siemens employees around the world loved it and the professionell press featured it as best practice. Everyday is now an integral part of Siemens. It's build to last – with 24/7 uptime for everyone in the company on desktop, tablet and touch for trade fairs and events. It even runs on old devices without any cloud computing power. Everyday 2.0 is in the making.
